AEWV Approved Despite a Gap in Employment Records

The applicant applied for an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) as a Carpenter.
During our review of the application, we identified a gap in the applicant's employment and payroll records. This required careful explanation, as the interruption was related to circumstances on the employer's side rather than any intentional action or non-compliance by the applicant.
Our Licensed Immigration Adviser carefully reviewed the applicant's employment history and supporting documents, clarified the circumstances surrounding the gap, and prepared a clear and evidence-based explanation for Immigration New Zealand.
Following consideration of the application and supporting information, Immigration New Zealand approved the applicant's AEWV.
The visa was granted on 30 September 2026, allowing the applicant to continue working in New Zealand as a Carpenter in accordance with the conditions of the visa.
